Yellow Claw – Reactive VJ System

To enhance DJ-act Yellow Claw's new visuals a system was developed that automated part of the VJ-ing process. This included an extensive beat detector system that could BPM sync visuals or trigger them accordingly to a beat. 

Next to the audio reactive part, realtime communication with Yellow Claw's audio mixer helped the system to trigger or predict new tracks.

My roll was the development of the audio-reactive system that triggers part of the VJ-ing process.
