Van Moof – S5 & A5 Global Launch Event

The global reveal of the Van Moof S5 & A5 electric bikes existed of a video transitioning between a physical area with multiple light and video installations and explanatory video's and animations.

As head of technique I bridged concept and technical execution. The multi projector, multi light setup was all controlled from a centralised system with a remote interface. This allowed me to be right behind the DOP and director to make changes on the spot so the flow of the video shoot would not be disturbed.

The setup consisted of multi projectors and cinematic projector screens, portrait screens and custom video mapped circular shapes, laser projectors used as 'lasers', pixelmapped monitors, diffuse LED product displays, transparent displays and two giant round soft boxes with addressable LED lighting.

Additionally a system was created that allowed animators to edit/animate on location with a live preview on the final screen setup. This made the incorporation of last minute delivered assets a possibility.
